ENTRANCE Overall Concept

ENTRANCE will provide customs practitioners with a more secure and effective risk-based, non-intrusive inspection process by combining a novel one-stop platform for automated risk assessment, threat recognition and information sharing (ENARTIS) with a suite of beyond state-of-the-art first and second line NII technologies:

  • ENARTIS will provide automated risk assessment of incoming freight based on all available data from the supply chain and the ENARTIS Cloud Database
  • Combined with ENARTIS, real-time data from the ENTRANCE first-line NII will provide a risk score as well as information on the type of threat, its position and recommend further action. The first-line NII technologies will be applied on incoming freight without stopping the flow of goods, hence without disrupting business
  • In the case of an alarm and the need for further inspection, the ENTRANCE 2nd-line NII technologies will allow for the detection of a large number of dangerous and illegal goods.
